That is the reason that FLoyd is a bigger draw then JMM, Pacquiao, and Cotto. It will do better than UFC I am expecting 700k PPV buys.

PBF,PAC and Cotto all **** on UFC. You can put all the best ufc fighters period on one card and it wont out sell and card with a combonation of those 3. But PBF and PAQ are like Tupac and Biggie in the 90s, Cotto is like Snoop Dogg, thats a way to gauge thier popularity right now lol.

I really dont get what ticket selling has to do with actual fighting in the ring, Some people would bring up irrelevant stuffs for the sake of it, I never believed the fight wasnt selling because i know alot of media people dont like Mayweather so they would highlight little things like tickets just to have a go at his fights.

I remember asking for 8 tickets at ticketmaster a day before the Cotto/Clottey fight and i was giving the options of buying those 8 tickets within 2 minutes..

Dana f@cked up. Considering the live gate for PBF vs De La Hoya did more than 3x the live gate for UFC 100. With 24/7 coming up, the Roger Mayweather story line, the sick undercard this fight is gonna kill UFC. Not to mention UFC is haveing 3 PPV fights in a 6 week span if I'm not mistaking.

In a way I agree. The reason I made this thread is because I was tired of all the Floyd Haters stating how he can't sell this fight. Even Dan Rafael called PBF on the B side of events. I never got a quantity of tickets before a big event unless it was through my Casino host. But if you got them its possible.

Exactlly. Cant expect people to purchase 10 60.00 dollar PPVs a year. But you can expect them to order 2-3 PPVS with fighters that are alot more popular than ufc fighters.

Am glad you made the thread, I was also tired of reading people like steve kim and his disciplines use every excuse in the book to try and convince people that the fight wasnt selling.

You see the media is a powerful tool and they like to use their influence to sway some dumb boxing fans especially those who dont like Mayweather.
