This gave the WBC a reason to stop the crying in years to come. Catchweights have been around since boxing has. Like it or not it wont stop. If this ****** belt makes for a better fight...Im for it.
I can care less how many belts their are. I or nobody on this forum takes the belt home or gets a cut of the purses...so why complain! What important to us as fans is that we see good fights and good PPV cards. Thats what we need to complain about. We watch a PPV cards that has an under card not worth even talking about. These belts are like trophy's to these guys. As a boxer myself I have belts ribbons trophy's and other awards that i have that i can showcase.
At the end of the night the most important thing is was if i won or if i lost in the end. Trinkets and trophy's are nothing more than a reflection back to what you did to win it. We are fans It shouldn't matter.

No your wrong. All these belts stop us from seeing the good fights. With 4 belts in a division the top 4 guys never have to fight each other.

Am a boxing fan so yes it affects the way i look at the sport that i love, Instead of denoucing this **** you seem to be encouraging it because it involves Pacman and that is where i think you're going wrong.

The TS has a right to his opinion, but don't try to sell us on the idea that Pacquiao will have acheived another divisional title with this Diamond trinket.

For me, the diamond belt is a bull crap with no bearing and influence with the boxing fans. The problem is, it's being sanctioned by a legitimate boxing organization. Whether we like it or not it's a legal belt.

ts is an idiot cotto and pac both agreed to a non title match at 145 then pac afterwards decided he wanted the title on the line and cotto said u agreed 145 non title if u want title it has to be where i won it and defended it at the limit of 147 . anyways its the wbc fault for being money hungry and not giving a *** about our sport they just want to see manny win a 7th title in a division

It affects us fans because it can make people look differently at the sport we all love, this isn't helping Boxing at all, in fact it is just gonna affect it in a negative way.

You know when guys go into Boxing and have a dream to become a world champion of the division they fight in, and become a world champion in other divisions after going up in weight... well this does nothing but help prevent people from wanting this.
