I honeslty think its a good thing....why not get more super fights? It only helps boxing..Theres no sanctioning fee (at least i havent heard of one....yet), and not only that, but it makes fighters really think about fighting guys they wouldnt ordinarily fight. Its going to give more coverage to boxing as well........I understand some of the arguments in here (WBAmess, corruption, etc) but when it comes down to it, theres going to be more fights happening because of it......at least imo

superfights are awesome, no question, but this fight was to be a superfight before the diamond belt was even created. The diamond belt does nothing to boost the awesomeness of this fight, if anything at all there will be some cool pictures of pacquiao posing over the limp body of cotto while he's holding a diamond studded belt.

A belt used to represent the champion...iei the best.

Now there are over four belt holders in each division.

NOW they have invented a new, pointless belt for yet another 'catchweight'.

Its ridiculous and means nothing.



The other belts mean somthing because they have been fought for by many fighters over decades. If the value of the belt is whats important, then why not just give an extra few million to the winner?

It don't help ****. And the top fighter in the sport shouldn't endorse this ****** ****. I'm disappointed in Pac if he helps push this new belt **** into fruition.
