I honeslty think its a good thing....why not get more super fights? It only helps boxing..Theres no sanctioning fee (at least i havent heard of one....yet), and not only that, but it makes fighters really think about fighting guys they wouldnt ordinarily fight. Its going to give more coverage to boxing as well........I understand some of the arguments in here (WBAmess, corruption, etc) but when it comes down to it, theres going to be more fights happening because of it......at least imo

No sanctioning fees from the WBC? The same organization that wanted a measley $30K from Pac for beating David Diaz? The sanctioning fees alone for this "title" will cover the costs for making the belt anyway.

And in my opinion....if Pacquiao comes out and endorses this BS...Nike should drop him, No Fear should drop him and any other endorsements he has.....

As a fan of Pacs I can say I'm disappointed that he said he'd be proud to fight for it. Hopefully he will decline actually doing it. The belt is worthless no matter how many diamonds it has. Whats next interm, jr, or super diamond belts GTFO

The point of belt is to be able to point at one person and say hes the man.. with all the different titles interims continents organizations plus add the fact how easy it is for champions to win and duck people.. it gets absurd

i mean all we can do is blindly follow ring lineage..thats ******ed

its funny because boxing exemplifies the worst aspects of capitalism, you want to think it can work but..
