Celestino Caballero Hits Back at Juanma's Manager

If memory serves me right, it was Caballero who kicked things off by calling Lopez names. Chicken or something. And then he kept on and said that JuanMa was not a chicken but a lady. At that point I thought Caballero was a bit too impolite, but he suggested that the fight be a winner takes all. This indeed was a very good idea. Lopez demanded $1 million, which is a laughably ridiculous statement. Let them fight the winner takes all fight. That will produce the amount of money Lopez wants I guess.

JuanMa's manager is partly right. Boxing is a business. But boxing is also a pseudo war. Caballero defenitely wants to put up a battle. It seems to me that Lopez doesn't. Either way, this is a fight that MUST happen very soon.

The only response Orlando and JuanMa need to give is that they want the fight and they will go to Top Rank to demand it. Caba is right on everything he said and JuanMa (for as good as he is) needs to step up to the plate, fight Caba (a fight he has a good chance at winning), and then move up in weight like he says he is going to do.....If he wins the fight and becomes a 3 belt holder, it will only add to his budding career and eventual legacy because i think he has the potential to become one of the best fighters in the lower weight divisions.....but if he doesnt demand the fight and keeps fighting these softies, he's never going to be considered a great like Benitez, Gomez, Trini, Cotto, etc.......

ijuanma should take this fight but caballero is a moron. Orlando told him to speak to his manager and promoter so they could get with arum. He is not going to get the fight with negotiating, to much talk and no action

lol you're the moron, why would you expect the caballero team to handle all the negotiations. it's obvious caballero wants this fight pretty bad he's even willing to fight juanma in PR. juanma should first signify his willingness to fight before they start negotiating but so far juanma's been silent and choose to fight bums.

i feel juanma is the better fighter, but caba is the better champion by far. willing to step up like a true champion. more of a man too.

its funny watching some of these ricans defend juanma, only shows how biased they are. no true boxing fan regardless of nationality can defend this blatant duck.

i used to be a fan of juanma, not anymore. as much as i would like to see caba knock his lights out. i dont mind the fight not happening. u can knock a man out on any given day, he gets back up and hes still a man. caba has juanma running like a little girl. lopez can keep hugging his paper title under some table in PR, caba already taken his manhood. until he steps up and proves otherwise juanma is irrelevenat and caba is the man at 122.

Like I said before, I am puertorican like Juanma, but I have to agree with Caballero. When you want to defend your legacy you do not avoid any boxer. Asking for a million dollar is like refusing to fight Caballero. I believe juanma is behaving like a chicken, instead of a real puertorican with the balls in place.
