well #1ASSASIN and MRLOPEZ , you might have been a fan of lopez , but im a follower of lopez , and before he called daniel ponce de leon out , and was named , top prospect of the island , he did say he wanted them all , including the lovers vazquez and marquez , and caballero , so if you just found out about juanma like 3 years ago , then ur just talking out of your ass. I do agree with you , and a lot of people , he is "looking" like a *****. at the end , come fight night , caballero is going to go back to panama , with a broken lip , a couple of bruises , and listen to"pasame la botella" and do what all the big mouths do , and he's gonna say , yeah , he is a great fighter , he hits really hard , i tried my best...... and so on. This fight is going to happen , we all know it.Is it in october or february , juanma knows the only person he needs to worry about , is gamboa at 126 , and gamboa said it , "he can easily handle anybody in his division with his skills".

Very true. Recent information is pointing to an eventual bout in January. Hope I am in Puerto Rico when that goes down. It will be mayhem in the stands and an all out battle in the ring, for the 6 or 7 rounds it should last before Peluchin begins kisses the the canvas.

Caballero has no trouble fighting in hostile territory.he destroyed Steve molitor in a soldout casino Rama(5200 people)& recieved his biggest payday ever fighting molitor on the road.it was molitor & his people who called out caballero & he signed in a heartbeat.juanma hasn't beat anyone yet & isn't that big of a draw(many empty seats at his last fight,cameras don't lie)so unless he's a complete idiot or chicken he would fight caballero for 3 belts.he'd get his biggest payday & this would make him the BEST at the weightclass.he is tarnishing his image.at least Steve molitor took the risk & attempted to be the best but came up short.Steve is 1 win away from securing a title shot so juanma better step up or **** off!

BAYAMON - El puertorriqueño Juan Manuel "Juanma" López, campeón súper gallo de la Organización Mundial de Boxeo (OMB), dijo hoy que está "muy ******o" con las declaraciones que el púgil panameño Celestino Caballero ha hecho en contra de él, por lo que lo retó a pelear en enero del 2010.

López hizo sus primeras expresiones en contra de Caballero, campeón súper gallo de la Asociación Mundial de Boxeo (AMB) y la Federación Internacional de Boxeo (FIB), lo tildara de "cobarde" y "afeminado" porque supuestamente no se atreve pelear contra él.

"Ya él ha hablado mucho y la prensa quiere que comente. Él no sólo ha metido la pata conmigo, sino las dos. Estoy dispuesto a pelear cuando sea", sostuvo López en una rueda de prensa en las oficinas de la empresa promotora PR Best Boxing en Bayamón, ciudad aledaña a San Juan.

"Yo nunca le he dicho que no a ningún rival. Él es el único que ha hablado. Cuando los promotores decidan, vamos a pelear", recalcó el boricua, con marca de 26-0 y 23 nocauts.

López indicó que Caballero (32-2) no ha peleado con boxeadores de gran calibre, mencionando a algunos como el canadiense Steve Molitor, a quien le quitó su invicto y el título súper gallo de la FIB, y el mexicano Daniel Ponce de León, contra quien le peleó los doce asaltos.

El puertorriqueño se convirtió en campeón mundial por primera vez cuando destronó a Ponce de León en el primer asalto el 7 de junio del 2008.

"En realidad Caballero se cree que me va a dar muchos problemas. Que se prepare bien y que todo lo que ha hablado, que lo cumpla", abundó López.

Agregó que él no es una persona de "dimes y diretes" (de habladuría), porque su propósito principal es "hablar con los puños" y no con palabras, pues su personalidad es la de un "caballero".

López propuso para enero la posible reyerta contra Caballero, debido a que el panameño peleará el 29 de agosto próximo, cuando expondrá sus dos títulos mundiales frente al mexicano Francisco Leal, y él, pelee el 10 de octubre en el Madison Square Garden de Nueva York contra el tanzano Rogers Mtagwa, aún sin confirmar.

Por su parte, Iván Rivera, presidente de la PR Best Boxing, recalcó que él y el promotor de cualquier rival de sus boxeadores son los que trabajan para celebrar los combates.

"No hemos hecho negocios con el equipo de Caballero. Él está tirando la bola a ver qué pasa. En su momento se dará y se dirá si va o no la pelea", puntualizó.

Come on Juanma step up and take this fight. It'll be juanmas hardest fight yet, but he beats Caba everyone will know that he's for real. Besides, you can ignore when nobodies call you out but this guy is a champion with two belts and it's the biggest fight at 122. This for Respect Juanma don't let down your fans.
