what part of my "story" don't you believe? It's all legit actually. Back it up. What don't you believe?

The part where one has to pay trainers to take fighters to amateur fights? Yes. This can happen. This is Chicago. There is no money/upfront money in the amateurs, therefore, some trainers (the greedy scums), will play slacker/start drama to get a little something extra (money of course).

Be upfront with me, what is "fishy" in my post? You never mentioned.

yeah cause you probably know the guy I'm talkin' about! He claims he's been around for as long as you have. Now, maybe you're the one that is fishy?

...Still can't find a record on fighter Mohammad Staffoo Davis, heavyweight, fought in the 70's , was called The Great White Hope. And you are in MI? That's right, this guy claims he and his wife visits Ali from time to time at his house in MI. maybe you know what I'm talkin about?

oh some will ask for a little extra something, I never said I was bad. Smart and cautious would be the wise word to use. I'm only inquiring and who this guy is, how he moves appears shady, in case you didn't really read my post, read it again. it is all real.

And I didn't ask to be spoon-fed. I take care of myself. Mike Tyson got spoon-fed by Cus. Different story. The only thing about this manager is he claims he knows people in the game. That's about it. He is in his 60's, so he is old. I like old people in boxing. I'm only inquiring on who he is. I could not find a record. He could be a rookie in boxing/boxer management, as far as I know so no record to speak of when it comes to that.

Im reading a book on cus and tyson and there was no contract in the amatuers from what the boojk stated.

If the guy is pushing you to sign as a beginning amatuer then I would shy away from him. Boxing is a brutal and ruthless sport when your rollin' in the pros. The ams are good for kids in many different ways. There are those out there who will try to take advantage of thye kids, like this guy it seems.

Find a trainer your comfortable with and work with him. Any trainer thats been in the game will have the same little connections this so called manager has, probably more. Find one you fit with and if your worth it inhis eyes he will guide you where you will need to be if you turn pro.

Oh yeah, the muhamad ali act states that no manager shall recieve over 33.3% of a fighters purse...................Rockin'
