I will give japanese fighters props when they actually come out of japan and fight a real contender. None of the Japanese champions in the 112lb division wanted a piece of Donaire. Donaire and his camp wanted to unify all the belts at 112lb last yr, but none of the Japanese champions step up. I'm sure if Donaire moves up in Hasegawa's division, he would likely be willing to fight Hasegawa.

Donaire wanted a unification bout. The japanese only recognize the WBC and WBA belts. Nonito had the IBF belt which is why none of the japanese would fight him. Had Nonito vacated the ****ty IBF belt soon as he won it he'd probly have both the WBC and WBA belts today.

i thought this fight with concepcion is a one and done trip at 115 then he'll immediately go to 118. Men, if he's able to beat concepcion this year, and then maybe december get a fight with agbeko and win, donaire is gonna be mentioned in the same breath as pacquiao

thats a bull**** excuse, recognize a belt or not, the japanese champions could have elected to defend their title without Nonito's IBF belt on the line. Bottomline...Donaire would have wipe both champions out.
