when he fought delahoya it was his FIRST fight ever at 147.

seems to me he goes to fight bigger fighters all the time in his big fights.

pacquiao is no bigger than most of the guys he fought at 122-130.

pacquiao is a small lightweight even now.
You picked Pacman to beat COTTO by KO...I dont even get why you typed all that.

Ypou picked Cotto to lose by KO..NO EXECUSES.

Normally that's true Burner. But in Cotto's case as I said, all the bitchin he's doin when he coulda just faced an actual WW, anything short of a KO makes him look bad. And in the context of this thread, (which of course has a Mr boat buyer plug worked in), we're talkin bout p4p right homey? P4P is a measure of skill which hypothetically pictures all fighters bein the same size. Well, Pac and Cotto ain't the same size. Cotto is a ****in WW and Pac ain't. This is evident by the fact that his team requires a catchweight. That's them basically admittin that size wise, this is man against boy. And if big bad WBO WW champ Cotto can't KO lil JWW champ Pac, he's gonna look like a ****in *****. Period.

I voted yes but there's a limit to how much weight their skill can overcome. And there's a difference between fighting someone heavier than you and fighting someone who is heavier and the top of their division.

Skill can overcome weight, however if both fighters are on the same level of skill, the weight will most likely determine the outcome. The point of p4p is to say that if size/weight were taken out of the equation (leaving only skill/style), who would win, not "this guy can beat people bigger than him"

Thats odd because I feel that if Pac doesnt KO Cotto Who he put a weight restriction on...and whos going through CAMP problems and who arguably lost his last fight....after wiping out Hatton at 140..and Oscar at 147....then doesnt that make the P4P number 1 look like a little *****???

Not when he started at flyweight. Pacquiao's legacy is already sealed.

If Manny is the best in the world...well see Nov. 14th...because Cotto will be a Middleweight....a big strong fast middleweight.

Floyd beat fighters heavier then him...Manny should be able to as well.

Shouldn't the previous p4p, Floyd Mayweather Jr., fight the Welterweights when he was p4p king instead of making Hatton move up to Welter....or making a LW come to him? Pac's style of fighting is suited for entertainment and a warrior.....Floyd's style...although the definition of Sweet Science....gets knocked for being boring and too defensive. IMO...it is easier to beat a "bigger" fighter when you just pot-shot and shoulder roll your way to a UD.....when has Pac and Roach ever strategized a UD gameplan? Styles make fights...so stop bringing up Floyd and Manny being able to do this and that, because in reality....both were trained very differently on how to fight.

Again....hate on Pacquiao all you want...but at least respect the fighter for delivering his part of the bargains come fight night....

Pac doesnt have to move up in weight if he doesnt want to......but he did...and he will pay dearly.

Hes going to brutally beaten and ruined by a much bigger stronger fighter..,hell never be the same again.......
