I think Cotto should be favored in this fight .. But what trips me out is why is he not putting the belt on the line.. If Cotto and his fan are so confident they shouldnt be scared of fighting a natural LW who is moving up to WW to fight the bigger man..

No, I mean let manny go for the belt but if cotto wins the belt just toss it to the side and appreciate the win more. There are many fighters out there through history who have had belts that don't mean anything. I think it means more to win the fight than being screwed by WBO. I'm not a boxer as some posters think they are so i don't know if 1, 2 or 3 lbs make a difference in a boxers fight performance.

True, you know we're killing cotto and pacquiao and they are still in negotiations. I think the fans, including myself are jumping to conclusions and nothing has been set. Soon we'll find out if belt will be on the line and at what weight. I hope for both fighters it's at 147 and for title. That way Pacquiao gets to fight Cotto at his best for a chance at title. Agree?
