    I think when Wlad calls it a career, then we'll be able to analyze his status in heavyweight boxing history. I think Wlad has a lot of fights left, and depending on how those fight turn out will largely impact whether he's considered an ATG hw or not. I think right now is too early to say..

        [QUOTE=Sudo;5840982]It's about competition...

        Lewis had Tyson, Holyfield...

        Ali had Frazier, Foreman...

        Klitschko has Valuev, Rahman, Chagaev...[/QUOTE/]

        Yep i dont think we will ever find out how good wlad is. If he had a chin he could be top 10 but he hasnt got the opponents to get up their.

            I don't agree. The weakest eras were the 1940s and 1980s. The 90s are overrated.

            Some people with an anti-European agenda keep saying it's the weakest era.

              Wlad has never been counted out, Lewis has been counted out twice.

              Wlad has more KOs. He's defeated more heavyweights who were ranked in the Ring top 10 at the time he fought them.

              Wlad has taken a lot more "0"s: Brock, Peter, Chagaev, Ibragimov, Castillo, etc.

              Lewis had an even greater reach advantage over his opponents (including Vitali) than Wlad, with his 29" arms and 84" reach.

              Lennox's biggest wins were over the past-prime Tyson and the past-best Holyfield.

              Lennox often resorted to dirty tactics (holding opponents arms, kidney punches, deliberate heat-butts to open cuts over the eye) while Wlad has won his fight fairly.

              Lewis's resume is 10 times stronger than Klitschko's.

                  Lewis fought very talented dudes ,those guys are not in the same ballpark.

                      Klitschko could knock 6 or 7 of his next opponents out in the first round, but as long as they're of the calibre he's been fighting, he'll have proven nothing.

                      He should have tried his best to fight Sanders. It could have been a non title fight or anything. But he needed to fight him. He was mucking around with a Rahman well past his best - a Rahman who Lewis finished in 4 rounds years ago when he was in his prime.
