Manny Pacquiao is a light puncher

Before some people get carried away let's not forget Manny is a light puncher:

He gave DelaHoya a lot of shots for like 8 rounds.DelaHoya was dehydrated didnt even buckle neither did he look damaged.Mayweather meanwhile buckled DelaHoya and Delahoya became cautious.After the fight with Pacquiao DelaHoya was surprised by the lack of Pacquiao's punching power.

Pacquiao dropped Marquez 3 times in the first round.What that means is Pacquiao caught Marquez flash 3 times but because he's not a powerful puncher Marquez rose and won every round afterwards.

Manny hit Diaz with everything he had,it took a lot of bashing before he could get rid of Diaz.

There is no doubt he could catch Cotto clean the way Pacquiao did to Hatton but knocking Cotto out is very unlikely.If Cotto feels Manny's lack of power then someone's ribs will need some good attention after the fight.

Does anyone really think Manny can knock Cotto out?

#1 Please....no one HAS EVER DAMAGED De La Hoya to the point of him buckling....not Vargas, not Mosley (that was war!), not Mayorga (decent uppercut connected), not Tito (see boxing clinic), not Floyd (decent bodywork but didn't buckle DLH)...only one to hurt Oscar was the Middleweight-re hydrated to dam near LHW-B-Hop....and even then...was a liver shot...nothing B-Hop landed to his granite chin buckeld DLH. DLH has a concrete beard...don't dis-credit Pac for not being able to KO someone only B-Hop has done....

#2 And who else can claim to KD Marquez 4 times in 2 fights? Shows that Marquez has a granite chin too...on top of that...a master ring technician who has the "smarts" to collect himself and rush into getting up just to show the ref he isn't hurt.

#3 David Diaz is one tough SOB....he lasted longer than DLH...and Hatton...so does that mean that Diaz is a better fighter than a drained DLH and the former 140lb king? It means that Diaz was alot tougher than people gave him credit for...he didn't quit...he didn't hide....in fact he was the one coming forward for more punishment in the fight and he went out on his shield...like a warrior. DLH quit on his stool....and Hatton dam near got his neck broken. Diaz caught the same exact left from Pacquiao...I think in the middle of round 6...and Diaz shook his head and kept on going...

Anyone can get KTFO if they don't see the punch coming.....on top of that...if the punch is in the "perfect" spot (B-Hop/ DLH)...it doesn't even have to land flush....

One thing i have noticed about Pac is that he has cutting and damaging hands, DLH's & Diaz's face was tenderized. This fight will end by KO or TKO, especially considering the giant gash that Cotto fought with for 10 rounds against Clottey, something like that opens up against Pac and it's over.

Calling Pac a light puncher hurts your credibility from the outset and makes it look like you have an agenda, at the very least he is a good puncher even if YOU dont think spectacular.

PACQUIAO is one of biggest punchers ever.

He knocked out DE LA HOYA in 9 rounds.

He look better then HOPKINS did against DE LA HOYA , thats how

great MANNY "BOXING GOD" PACQUIAO is!

The comparison with Hopkins is laughable.DelaHoya was still a great fighter then and even after the Hopkins fight he went on to win good fights.The DelaHoya Pacman fought was just a name but finished.

manny's power is more speed then anything. hes throws the punches so fast at times that your caught off guard with a punch you didnt see. i dnt feel hes a pure puncher and doubt he can knock cotto out mosley who is also fast and alot stronger then pacquaio couldnt do it. what makes anyone think pacman can.
