I also think Pacquiao is an ATG at any weight below welterweight. Can Pacquiao beat Cotto? Of course, he has the skills and quickness to beat him and if he does his legacy will grow even more. THIS FIGHT REMINDS ME OF Speedy Sugar Ray Leonard vs Marvin Hagler

No one is debating that. I wouldn't say that Pacquiao is 10x faster though. That wasn't Cotto at full speed anyway. He always punches like that when he's training. Cotto's timing though is what's gonna be important.

It's not fast forwarded. Observe the people behind him.

Bags don't hit back my dude. Yea, Pacquiao is definitely faster. But don't base your opinion on these videos.

100% true. The way Cotto looked in the shadow boxing vid, I can definitely tell you he was just warming up, getting his muscles loose. I start out the same way, loose, easy punches. He also was in the middle of the Bronx with tons of people watching him so he wasn't going crazy. Pac was clearly already in the zone in those vids. They just train different. Pac is faster but 10x faster is saying a lot man.

You may have been watching longer than me but you still don't know **** about boxing. You come on here and show 2 videos of Manny "counterpunching marquez" I can post both fights and show Marquez doing that about 100 times more than Manny did to him your idiot. Also, showing highlights is not proving your point, name me one person who actually looks bad in videos where they are showing their best stuff, seriously GTFO of here with that mess. You then say Cotto can't bum rush manny... first of all, Cotto hasn't rushed in on anyone since the Judah fight. Ever since then he's been able to use his jab to setup his offense vs. his constant pressure. I mean jesus, even Roach Manny's trainer has stated, I'm really going to study that Mosley/Cotto fight to see how Cotto offset Mosley's speed.

If the guys own trainer is going to study a video of Cotto, not because of his pressure, his power, his chin or his speed but because he's worried about how he is going to offset Manny's speed. I mean jesus, you say you've been watching boxing since the 80's and somehow managed to miss that fight, go watch it before you reply to anything on here again, seriously. That fight is how Cotto is going to beat Manny, and what was the key in that fight? Timing and Cotto's jab, which is exactly why Roach is going to study the hell out of that fight, he knows that Cotto is able to handle any amount of speed you throw at him. And AGAIN, Cotto's jab is faster than any of Paq's power punches, thus, each time Manny winds up Cotto's throwing that jab out there to stop his rhythm, that is how timing off-sets speed, no matter how fast you are.

One more thing, Manny loves to exchange, period. Watch the JMM, Morales, Barrera, Diaz and Hatton fights. Thats where Manny will be screwed because he's going to get baited into fighting and that's Cotto's recipe for disaster for Paq. As far as Cotto not being able to counter... watch the Marg fight, watch the last rounds of the Clottey fight all he did was counter punch and won rounds by doing it, Cotto is not one dimensional no matter how much you portray him out to be. He can box a little, counter, and put massive pressure on you and he can change tactics mid fights. Manny's never been in there with someone with the combination of all things that Cotto brings to the table. Manny has shown he can handle them one at a time, the question is can he handle it all in one fighter?
