That's true. What's also true is this:

Manila Ice Perfected: The Right Hook

In past interviews, Pacquiao said he practiced counter-punching (during Diaz, De la Hoya, Hatton training). So By the time he reaches Hatton, it was so automatic, that when Hatton telegraph his left punch, Pacquiao countered with his right hook roll under move, EVEN BEFORE THE HATTON PUNCH.

I'm saying Cotto's jab is his way of watching Manny's move, and its power is near that of a power punch. Its how Cotto will use timing to keep manny from putting his combo's together, he's shown both the power and timing of it. He's knocked down two guys with it, and used the timing perfectly against Mosley and against marg in the early part of the fight. And sure, you can say the guys he knocked down were off balance, but the fact is that it was done with a jab, proving its power.
Come on man your making to much sense. *******s dont like that.

Yep it does. The 2nd fight shows the skills that Pacquiao has against a good fighter like Marquez but it also shows how vulnerable he can be. Same can be said about Cotto vs Clottey. That fight shows cotto's weaknesses and shows his heart and skills in fighting a big fighter like Clottey who would give any boxer trouble. I think the BEST that could've happened was to realize that the boxer(margarito) that beat him is a known cheater AND having a very, very bad cut and showing heart to go all the way against a TRUE welterweight.

YEP, something Cotto has to learn from their mistakes and I think he will. Cotto is a fighter who learns pretty quick and uses those lessons in future fights. He was never known as a good Jabber/boxer but even mosley admitted that he was surprised how much of a "boxer" cotto is. I think both Cotto and Pacquiao will realize how good the other fighter is.

That's the way to beat Manny Pacquiao: counter-punching.

              Bull-rushing him won't work.

Like I said Cotto is a good fighter. I picked Cotto to win when he fought Judah, Mosley, Margarito, Jennings and Clottey.

But there's no power in that speed, his punches won't even tickle Cotto.

                    so then you're:

                    a) incapable of retaining lessons learned from fights

                    or

                    b) a ****en idiot who says things like ****'s 10x's faster

                    you decide-both pretty lame.

Agree, that's why I don't think Cotto will Bull-rush him. I think Cotto is going to jab, box and go to the body(when he can) and try to slow down pacman. Going to the body WITH POWER slows down every good fighter in history.
