He can't make the same fighting Mosley or Cotto(expecting Cotto to lose to Pac)

Only way he could make as much as he'd make vs Pac is if he went and digged up DLH...
dude, he wouldn't care. it is principle to him and he sticks to it. remember he turned down the 2nd oscar fight for huge $$$. he believes he should get te larger % regardless of $$# amount because he believes all roads lead thru him now. so eventually pacman would have to come to him, if he wants to truly be called the best

Umm, if he beats Floyd, Marquez IS a big name, that's the point.

Marquez-Pac 3 is an important fight, and if both Marquez and Pac win their next fights, it will be for the P4P title, just like Pac-Mayweather would be. And remember, "Marquez has a whole country behind him, A COUNTRY!!!" I didn't say it, ya boy did.

What a great story it would be if Marquez won a decision against Floyd.

It would force Manny into a trilogy with Marquez. But more than likely Freddie Roach would want the fight at 147 with Marquez's titles on the line.
Me too. **** would be epic Dans. I'm hopin like crazy homey. But if the 3rd fight was made, it needs to be at 140.

They're both divas now, let's get that straight. That's why this fight will be the hardest to make.

I think Marquez winning a decision against Floyd is a notch below Buster Douglas to the public, but in reality it's probably more of an upset. That's saying a lot considering Marquez is a GREAT fighter and Douglas was a one hit wonder.

I think it would be at 140, and if Marquez beat Mayweather it would be a pick em fight.

Marquez doesn't have Floyd's fanbase...Marquez is only gettin older, he aint beatin Pac...

And Marquez will never be a big name to the casual fan...he's too old now...casual fans probably just remember that he lost to Pac

Given the difficulty in negotiating that both of these fighters present, I can't imagine the negotiations for a fight between the two of them. They would dispute everything down to the lighting in the arena.

                Imagine that.
f--- the negotiations, f--- the fight....

                i can't wait for the 24/7!

would be a story for the history books eh?

pacquiao and marquez fighting for a third time.

three fights, three weight classes, both beating top guys before they fight the third time.

but floyd vs. pacman is something special. its the number one guy fighting the previous unbeaten number one. can't make that **** up... even people who do not follow boxing are already talking about it. would break all records.
