if pac lands the same punch he landed on hatton, cotto is going to sleep.

Oscar mentioned at the end of the fight "I just didn’t care. I didn’t care if he was hitting me because I couldn’t do anything about it. Luckily he doesn’t hit hard."
dlh has one of the best chins in boxing. even bhop had to go to the body to hurt dlh.

    - Cotto took big hits all night against Mosley who hit's harder than Pac... and got battered to a pulp by Margarito, quitting yes, but not stopped
if cotto gases and pac puts the pressure on cotto will quit AGAIN.

    - Cotto has a solid enough defense to prevent Pac landing combination after combination like he did against Oscar... sure he'll land, but not at the accumulation to hurt Cotto IMO
cotto is open up the middle... see the steward thread.

    - Cotto loses rounds when he's being backed up, Manny will be staying outside then jumping in... fighting the smaller guy suits Cotto
if cotto starts backing up, pac will destroy him

    - Pac has the tendency to start brawling when it's not necessary, if this happens he's going to get stopped
depends if cotto can time and counter pac, which he should be able to do.

    - Another thing is, Manny may be extremely mobile and difficult to find... but when he does come in to exchange his body is there to be hit, one of the only punches Oscar landed was a left hook to the body which he said hurt Pac
cotto needs to throw that body shot to slow pac down, if he doesn't by the 6th, cotto will gas and quit.

I honestly think the best chance of Pac winning is to box his way to a decision, and Cottos jab will be the key to the fight.
cotto gonna need to jab, punch when pac punches and work the body. if he fails to do these things he will gas and quit again.

I don't think Cotto gets stopped either. It took 11 rounds for Margarito to stalk down and stop Cotto, Mosley was unable to, I don't think Pac will. People seem to think the only way Pac can win is by KO though and that is completely false.

Pacquiao doesn't hit hard? LOL! That's why he looks sooo good here during the fight.

I partially agree with he won't get stopped. But if the fight goes into the deep rounds I think Pac may be able to get him out. Cotto's defense and stamina drop off towards the end of the fight.

Pac by total domination from 1st round until Cotto takes a knee and quit simultaneously on the 6th round.

After the fight Cotto will be so embarrass that he will hurriedly leave the ring and in a week time he'll have a press conference announcing his retirement.

I could agree with most of your points except Pac is a puncher, enough to warrant Cotto's respect and DLH chin is topnotch. I think pac may get a KO in the later rounds depending on Cotto's stamina.

And take a good look at your sig. That is one of the bad habits of Cotto. He often does this when pressuring his opponents. If ever pac gets the same opportunity, he would get in a punch and move away before Cotto even lands a punch. My two cents.

i could see Manny stopping Cotto late by dropping him with a quick shot and landing a flurry against the ropes after Cotto gets up.
But I agree this will not be a one punch KO affair like the Hatton fight.

But he never dropped or even wobbled DLH with his power, it was all speed.
