mayweatehr gets put in a corner by almost everyone he fights and most dont have the power or boxing skill that Cotto has...the reason mayweather is hard to touch is becsue he runs and then uses his amazing defense when on the ropes or in the corner...but against a guy like Cotto who was pounding Clottey even through his defense it would be interesting to see how floyd handles that

oh and Floyd vs. Pac is a good fight historically becuse of the P4P thing but as an actual fight there is no question as to which will be more entertaining

Clottey got pounded on the ropes and never tried to get off them.
Floyd lays on the ropes and maneuvers and make fighters miss.
Clottey didn't do that. For Cotto to be successful Floyd would have
to fight Cotto's fight and I just don't think Cotto ring IQ that impressive
to take Floyd off of his own game and winning mentality. I hope
Cotto/Mayweather happens next year, because in all honesty, that
is the fight that was/is supposed to happen.

ya man i agree completely pac vs floyd is great for the legacy and the history aspect of the sport but i think that a floyd cotto match up would be much more entertaining...that being said i think roach needs to concentrate way more on the fight coming up against cotto and not be worried about what might be coming in the future because while i think manny will win against cotto he isnt going to be able to walk straight through them like he did with dlh and hatton...cant wait for these two upcoming mega fights

Its okay for me that everybody picks Pacquiao to win this fight. I will be at Las Vegas in November 14, I will be betting in favor of Cotto, and I will be able to make a lot of money thank you for people like you which do not have the proper mind to think right. Cotto will destroy Pacquiao in 6 rounds, I will return home with enough money to say that my trip to Las Vegas was free. Thank you people, keep thinking in that way, make Cotto underdog 10-1.
