I dont think haye is a big puncher at heavyweight. he just doesnt have that big bone structure to help support it. knockouts over bonin and a shot old barret dont prove anythingComment

Haye will probably hit Valuevs slow ass harder than Holyfield did. Holyfield still has a lot of technique, Haye throws them parking lot type of punches.Comment

I think Haye is a harder puncher at any time in their respective careers. Holyfield is just a better fighter with better, crisper combinations. Haye would punch harder P4P with a single shot though.
Haye sparked everyone at cruiserweight a lot of the timw tih one single shot from his first fight through to nearly his last at that weight. He was also fighting some good fighters very, very early on. He didn't face the same level of comp as Holyfield of course but I still don't think Holyfield has as much one punch power as Haye. Holyfield usually had to set them up with combinations and then finish them off with a barrage of shots, instead of the brutal sort of one punch KO's that Haye often showed.
Doesn't matter. Haye is still nothing compared to Holyfield though. He lost to Thompson in his tenth pro fight whereas Holyfield beat Qawi in only about his 12th pro fight.
Either way though, they both had great KO records but Haye's was more one punch KO power and Holyfield's was more combination type accumulation.Comment
