This is hard to do: gain weight and speed at the same time. He could try but imo he can't win regardless. I'll root for him though. I know he'll die trying.

as long as he believe he could it enough for himself.

Nobody though Baldmoir would win against Zab, Manny KO Oscar or Douglas KOing Tyson.

      so anything could happen.

It look Marquez is really going at it 12 km per day uphill at once is amazing thing.

he should have stayed somewhat lean so he didn't
        lose any speed.
He definitely doesn't look fat, he looks muscular....

Damn he's added a lot of muscle. It can't be good for his speed, there's no way he can retain the speed he had in previous fights. It will be interesting to see what he looks like fight night.

football players and rugby player have alot of muscle and speed.

The better question is not about speed but stamina. imagine carried extra weight and moving around.

That's a much different type of speed. It has nothing to do with your ability to run, it has to do with the speed of your hands. Boxing is such a precise sport, that even 5 lbs can change your speed enough to not be effective.

The lighter you get the faster your hands become, I'm just worried that Marquez will not be able to regain the speed he has. I mean let's be real here, he's not the fastest guy to begin with and now he's going up against a mongoose.

Well also he has had more time to adjust to his new weight due to May's "rid injury". Im feeling confident because he had extra time to get comfortable at his new weight that he will come out to his full potential come fight night. I just wonder how much power he has gained? He brought up a decent amount with to ko two fighters that never have been koed before.
