The FACTS of this matter are that he had only ONE injury, which, because it was wrongly diagnosed at first, caused 2 postponements. When he was recovered (after a back op for a naturally occurring spinal bone spur growth) Rahman had taken a fight with his pal Barrett (I think) which further postponed the fight.
THEN......he got his injury, to his knee, caused by entangling his leg with that of his sparring partner, causing him to fall and snap his interior cruciate ligament, a very serious injury, which caused him to retire as the WBC was insisting that he fight Rahman in 90 days.
He wasn't knocked down, the above leg entanglement was spread all over the news as Klitschko being knocked down-sometimes out- by his novice sparring partner. Not true.
