Floyd will fight anyone if the money is right, imo. There is no reason to think he would avoid Cotto other then to not deal with Arum. If Arum makes Floyd a killer offer I am sure Floyd would fight Cotto in a heart beat, if the bull**** and lowball Floyd then he won't fight them.

A fight has never even been discussed between the two seriously to this point so to say one does not want the other is ludacris.

I don't think he would, he would go after Pacquiao hard saying "everyone wants to see that fight and who the hell is Miguel Cotto?" He might fight Cotto if Pac wins convincingly, but even then I'm not sure he would.

I think he would because he has already stated that Cotto is not the same. Even if Cotto gets by Pacquiao he would have fought so many good fighters in such a short amount of time. Mayweather would not hesitate to take this fight considering how much money it would make

All this stuff is all cheap talk, and no one really ever tried to make the fight happean. This fight has been nothing but a pipedream for a long time, hopefully if Cotto beats Pacman they get serious about making this fight take place. All the stuff you brought up is really just Bob Arumesque spin.

Honestly if a fighter wants to fight Floyd it is easy enough, make Floyd an offer he can not refuse on the money side and he will do whatever (example Oscar fight).

Also Arum owes Floyd a lot of money, if someone owed me a lot of cash working with them would be pretty much impossible. If Floyd and Arum can come to terms on this matter, then there can be a fight until this is dealt with it is hard to see happeaning (it is the same situation with Pacman also that is why I see Floyd fighting Mosley first before either).

I see money and bull**** (between Floyd and Arum) mainly money though, as to why this fight has never gone beyond public chatter. I don''t think either fighter is affraid of the other.
