Let's just say Floyd got passed JMM, and Cotto beat Pac...
Do you believe Mayweather would agree to fight Cotto?

I think he will, he will have no option. Hopefully Cotto calls him out, maybe make fun of him (a la Hatton).

      But **** Floyd...

I'd say it depends on how good Cotto was at beating Pac. If he destroyed Pac, I don't think he'd fight him.

If Cotto shows alot of flaws against Pac but still just sc****s through to get victory, I think Floyd would fight him and beat him.

But then again, If Cotto has alot of flaws against Pac, he will lose anyway.

He will look like a coward if he beats JMM and doesn't fight the winner of Cotto-Pac. That's for sure.

if floyd wants to fight the top fighters at welter, he could have done it before. i cant think of any reason why he will be doing it now so i voted no

Maybe, hard to tell... but if the fight was in that much public demand then like larry said he would probably have no other choice...

Definitely. The reward is there and neither has anything else on their plate

The assumption that Floyd would flat out refuse to fight Cotto is baseless

I tell you what though, I wouldn't be surprised if Mayweather fought Pacquiao before Cotto, even if Pacquiao lost. A kind of Judah-Baldomir situation all over again
