I just watched Cotto-Urkal fight again

oh yeah i forgot that too thanks for reminding me. i honestly think that weight wont play a big part on this fight as many people think. i also think that miguel might want to be as light as he can so he can be quick on his feet

Cotto tends to look slow and has slight difficult with big fighters (Margarito, clottey) but when he fights guys with speed, he tends to adjust and then breaks the fighters down. In the mosley fight he did not break mosley down but showed as much speed as mosley. In Judah he overcame judah's speed and totally destroyed him. Yes, there were low blows but that occurs since he goes to the body so much. They'll probably be 1 or 2 low blows in pac fight since he'll be attacking pac's body all night.

im starting to watch more of cotto's previous fights in order for me to make a prediction ifever pac-cotto is finally signed. basing my thoughts in this fight, i honestly think that pac can beat miguel with ease. pac wont stand in front of miguel like urkal did, for some reason i also think that pac can take his punches. lastly, i think pac's handspeed will play a big part on this fight. i honestly think that miguel is very vulnerable and ive saw some flaws in his defense. pac to win by ko/tko in the late rounds. im taking bets now so feel free to visit my betting thread on my sig

Do you really think that when pac goes in there with his combos and when cotto throws that counter left hook its not gonna rock him? The same left hook that hurt clottey in the 5th round or 6th round? I have never seen clottey hurt, and he was hurt, and went to the ropes from that point on. can't remember if it was the 5th or 6th.

i dont see pac standing in front of cotto and absorbing those body shots. team pac knows that so miguel have to device a plan B

he will get hurt if that lands of course. but team pac knows that so they will come to the fight ready. i just think that pac will absorb cotto's punches better than most people think. thanks for posting bro

That's a huge mistake. Cotto needs to put as much weight on as possible to rehydrate his muscles. He will never beat pac in the speed department, so he should work on his timing.
