agree 100% .. when have you ever seen these two talking **** about anyone.. both are very humble and very good champs.. But i do admit Cotto publicly letting Roach know that he isnt a washed up oscar or over-rated ricky was good stuff... sometimes you need a small edge.. and the fact he's seen as the underdog is good for him.. makes him hungry again.. i cant wait for this fight.. hope its a great fight !

I also believe that Roach knows this is surely not going to be a hatton or oscar fight. Roach has trained a long time and he knows that this is probably Pacquiao's toughest fight and one that Pacquiao might win but will take alot out of him in regards to punishment to the body. Pacquiao could even beat cotto faster than oscar but might take wayyyyy more punishment than oscar dished out to pacquiao. Remember, oscar was a statue in that fight and the fight went 8 rds. Cotto had a very, very bad cut against CLOTTEY and that fight lasted 12rds. Cotto got beat up bad by margarito in 2nd half of fight and that fight lasted 11 rds from a BIG fighter like Margarito.

Pink, you are probably right. I told my son that this morning. I told him that here we are argueing about catchweight, 147, roach comments and i bet Cotto team and pac team are laughing at all of us. Cotto and Pacquiao respect each other more than pacman/cotto fans respect each other. You never hear cotto talking bad about fighters or Pacquiao talking bad about fighters. I think the 24/7 series will center on their countries more than the fighters....lol

the real question is, will Floyd actually realize that.. i think its sad that if pacman wins he's gonna want more than mayweather but if cotto wins he will probably have to take less than 50 againts mayweather.. either that or floyd will find another excuse not to fight either man
