The posters that voted no, can't call themselves boxing fans, they are Floyd hating bitches, not boxing fans. When your hate for someone overshadows your ability to enjoy something you supposedly enjoy, you're the idiot.

Mayweather will be coming off more than a year and a half layoff, I don't give a **** who it is, no one is immune to ring rust and someone like JMM (who should be at least B level at 144) will exploit that ****.

Yea I did. And I was deliriously happy to eat crow after what happened. If the same **** happened in this one or Pac-Cotto, I'd celebrate like crazy. I'd luv to see the lil guys pull off the upsets against the WW's. But I ain't countin on that **** at all.

All my points that Mayweather/Marquez fight will not be as exciting/Explosive/Intense as Cotto/Pac fight?

1.) Floyd got injured and the fight was pushed back.

2.) As a result, 24/7 was also pushed back.

3.) The Manny/Cotto drama about the catchweight and whether or not Cotto's title would be on the line was dominating the headlines.

4.) Mayweather isn't acting like Mayweather ; He's been relatively silent this time out and has not once said anything bad at all about Marquez. Therefore creating no headlines of his own.

5.) Marquez isn't one to talk either ; he prefers to let settle things inside the ring.
The injury wasn't true and most casual fans don't care about this nonsense one sided fight.
Boxing addicts loves this one. I heard there were still plenty of tickets needs to be sold.

Floyd is in another level no way Marquez beats Floyd. Too big too strong too skilled.

Nobody knows whether the injury was legit or not.

And who gives a **** about the casual fan?

I'm a hardcore boxing fan and this is a fight I'm looking forward to.

I'll go even further and say Mayweather/Marquez is a much more interesting fight to me than Pacquiao/Cotto is.

With Mayweather/Marquez ; a lot of intangibles will come into play. Floyd's inactivity may lead to him not being as sharp in the ring, Marquez may capitalize on that. Floyd's injury also may have been legit, and maybe it will show up at some point in the fight.

Marquez has a chance to pull a major upset here.

Whereas with Pacquiao/Cotto, everybody already knows wtf is going to happen with that one ; Pacquiao by TKO.

Anybody can lose their edge after a damn near 2 year layoff.

Even somebody as skilled as Mayweather.

And there's no such thing as a sure thing in boxing.

                    Not now. Not ever.

Upsets happen all the time and it's ridiculous to underestimate a guy like Marquez just because we think he's stepping out of his depth.

I want to see Marquez prove himself. I'm routing for him, the underdog. I think he has a great chance of winning. If everyone thought it was competitive I wouldn't care, it's mostly that people actually think Floyd will dominate him.
