Whether he did or not, his career is basically over for those big time fights.

Absolutely not. I was disappointed in the fact that i wanted to see a good scrap, but that's as far as that goes. Nate had to do what was right for Nate. Nate knew exactly what was going on and he obviously had doubts on whether his vision was in danger or not. He knew the rules and that fighting on, when in doubt, would be ******.

A ND would basically start the fight over with no cut, no vision problems.

Would anyone expect any fighter to step in the ring for round 1 with the eye issues that Nate had? Because that's exactly what people are expecting when they Nate should have just "fought through it". Peoples hatred for Nate are blowing things out of proportion to the extent that they are counting phantom punches that Timmy never landed.

i'd have rather he not been so obvious in trying to get the fight stopped and let the doctor come look at it and do his job, he would have done and said anything to get out of that fight last night, he knows the rules and he was behind in the fight so he took the easy way out

If there was really blood in the back of his eye like the ringside physician said, then for his own health it was a good stoppage.

Too bad that the fight wasn't ruled correctly.
