So money is the deciding factor on whether one is a piece of crap or not?
Always with the dumb statements.
Margacheato is a loser who said he knew not what his trainer did that caused margacheato suspensions and all these problems.
Yet they are seen hanging out with each other. If someone ruined my career I would be angry at them..negro please!!!

i think what he means is that resto, being in the situation he is in, has nothing to lose by admitting he cheated. margarito has a lot of money and still has boxing. So money is the deciding factor on whether one is a piece of crap or not?
Always with the dumb statements.

also, margarito and capetillo have been together for a long time, haven't they? sure, he could drop him as his trainer, but it's not that easy to just throw someone who's been like a father for so long out of your life.Last edited by ¤¤¤; 08-02-2009, 04:04 PM.Comment

Don't worry, I have a very strong su****ion that Margarito will not get his license back right away when he goes up before the review. So money is the deciding factor on whether one is a piece of crap or not?

Let's take a look at what happen.
How unaware was he? Apparently, he was so unaware that by the time he got to this Jan. 30 interview, he still hadn't heard anything.
Now, as of today, Capetillo has said he put something in the gloves. Mosley trainer ****m Richardson said something was in the gloves, and saw it that night when it fell out of Margarito's gloves. State inspectors have said they saw something in the gloves that night. Even Mosley had a look at this foreign object. But Margarito, well after the fact, was apparently the only one in the whole building who thought the dispute was just about the location of tape. You tell me how likely that is.
The inspector who reviewed Margarito's wraps, Che Guevera, described what he saw in a knuckle pad thusly:
"It was sweat-soaked, thinner and harder in certain areas, not hard as a rock, but firm and hard," Guevara said, adding it had a stain "like old blood" on it. "It was not flexible. It was very firm."
A second inspector described it in much the same way:
State inspector Mike Bray revealed what he witnessed of the "illegal" pads hidden in knuckle wraps. "There was a blood stain on the corner of the pad; [it was] moist and dirty looking with a white substance smeared across the pad, like a cast plaster ... I can see a substance smeared in the middle of this pad," Bray said, reading from notes he'd filed about the inspection.
State commissioners got the opportunity to feel the insert in a plastic bag. But, strangely, there's still been no determination made about what was in the second glove, and may not be until Mid-March. This is just weird. How long does it take to determine whether a substance is plaster or not?
Either way, it's hard to imagine how a blood stain or even sweat stains could be on the pad unless it was used before. Somewhere.
Then, a deputy attorney general, Karen B. Chappelle, did something strange:
Earlier, Chappelle attempted to introduce a claim that the pads were worn by Margarito in his July TKO victory over Miguel Cotto in Las Vegas, but the commission said that point lacked relevance.I know I just said it's hard to imagine how the pad got the way it was unless it was used before, but I don't know why any state commission would care what happened in a fight outside its jurisdiction. Yet I wonder what evidence Chapelle had to introduce her claim. Keith Kizer, the executive director of the Nevada Athletic Commission, has rather flatly stated that there's no way Margarito had illegal hand wraps against Cotto. It smacked of ass-covering then. It gets a little bit more serious now. The Nevada commission should, at minimum, do some kind of sincere review of what happened that night to see if there's evidence it missed.

I hope that Margarito never gets his license back simply because we all know that this man has affected a few careers with his underhanded cheating. His defenders would say "he gotta eat", but how about the fighters he affected. They have to eat and have families too.
It would be a good way to finally shutdown these people that back cheaters and continue to give this great sport a black eye
No more slaps on the wrists for these millionaires...they are not above the law.Comment

In that video, after cheato took off his gloves, (doesn't every boxer? Maybe it would raise su****ion if he left them on?) i saw him being able to only raise his index finger, claiming he's #1, while the rest of his fingers remained closed the whole time.
After watching the intense punishment that Cotto took, (and he kept fighting until the 11th round,) with loaded gloves, of all the fighters Cotto has fought, nobody could do that much physical damage to him, plus we have the fact that Cotto beat Mosley, after Mosleys corner found wraps in his hands. So he beat the man who beat him. More for his confidence.
And this CANNOT be denied, because the commentators were saying they found a plaster-like substance in his gloves, and the boxing comission found him guilty and banned him because of illegal hand-wraps.
He should be in jail. Someone could get killed using this ****. After watching that video, and all that punishment Cotto withstood in the face of severe adversity, I don't see how a smaller Manny is going to hurt him. I really don't. I am more convinced than ever now that Cotto is going to slam Manny. I thnk the little guy bit off more than he can chew this time. But i still respect Manny. I'm not dissing him. He's got a pair. They both have proved they are no quitters or cowards. They both deserve a lot of credit.
This only moreso proves what a beast Cotto is. And as he looks back in retrospect at this and his fight with Clottey, i bet he has more confidence now than ever. He's been through a lot. And he proved to himself in the Clottey fight, (Clottey would kill Manny) that he knows the wraps were illegal, has acknowledged that el cheato has used them and probably knows (or at least thinks) that they were used against him, and has shown that he really is a beast of a boxer.
If it took a real WW with a 4" taller guy, most probably with illegal hand wraps, 11 rounds to put him down, what's Manny gonna do? When you look at it in this light, I'd say Manny better start praying. By the way, even if hand wraps weren't used, It still took 11 rounds for a bigger aggresive man to put Cotto down. And Cotto was doing some mighty fine work in the earlier rounds. Offense and defense.
Yeah, I'm confident Cotto gonna be da man in this one.Comment

He won't, Margarito has Top Rank's money and he won't need to confess for some cash. He even still has some idiots behind him claiming that he never did a thing after trying to assault a 37 y.o. man in a fight. Like its the case with bitches, they will cheat on you until they get caught, that is what happened to him. When Will Margarito Confess? It took Resto 20 some years.
Resto describes his plaster filled wraps which are the same as
Antonio Margarito Montiel's.
This confession by Luis Resto, did not help Margarito very much.
Resto during the show denied it up and down and all around.
We later hear Luis Resto's confession. Margarito still claims
he knew nothing about the plaster inserts that were being placed
inside his wraps before a bout.
WE THE PEOPLE, KNOW YOU ARE LYING TONY, But my question is...
Will it take you more than 20 years to confess to your crime?
You should have went to jail son. Yes, both you and C****tillo
should have done a minimum of 16 months.Comment

Truth is there is no proof he has used it against anyone... just that he tried to once and failed, I mean I think he probably did against Cotto but there is still no proof so I can't really say anything. When Will Margarito Confess? It took Resto 20 some years.

Only way there can be proof if he did is if he did what Resto did, confess...Comment

So you just want him to admit to saying what you want to hear right?? InNo pendejo, confess to loading his wraps, knowing about loading his wraps, admitting to doing it in other fights and not put all the blame on C****tillo.
the end no one knows if he did or not. Not me, Not you. Who's the real pendejo that can't take a loss?Margarito claims he knew nothing

Margarito from one night to the next turns into an idiot like Schultz?
Nope, its not like I'm going to see something I already don't know about.Did you not watch The HBO special last night?
But yet he paid for it long before then idiot. There is so much difference between Resto & Margs.Did you not see how long it took Resto to finally start telling the truth?Comment
