at the end of the day his fights were usually more entertaining than hopkins. who was great at what he did/does but doesn't really entertain me with his boxing style.

LMFAO. That stoppage was a disgrace. Calzaghe even gave a little uppercut to the ref as he stepped in.

          **** fight, **** stoppage.

Seriously, what a DISGRACE to boxing that what. That degraded it to running in like a spaz, throwing 400 punches in 4 rounds and the ref jumping for no reason at all. Anyone could become champion if that ref made the rules. What a DISGRACE.

Dude. Popkins just flies in with the head and right hand together.

what are you talking about, Shattered Glass? his lead right hand was among the best in boxing. it's technically perfect. only PBF can match him for the straight right.

My only problem with the way he thought was sometimes to be a little too careful and for some fans can be a bit lacklustre just say.

Just for the record, If you are fighting in the Uk and you don't throw a punch for 30 seconds while on the ropes taking a barrage of punches, you are going to get stopped.

it doesn't matter who you are, what you are fighting for or how far ahead you are on the cards.

Don't fight back you'll gte stopped, if you don't understand this BEFORE you step in the ring, you have no business being IN the ring.

You might not agree with it but Watson and McClellan's Legacy has a strong hold over the UK boxing Scene.
