I LOVE watching Calzaghe fight. He;s one of the most exciting fighters in boxing today, the better question would be How could you NOT enjoy watching a guy like Calzaghe fight? Silly hater thread if you ask me......Comment

how can you not appreciate someone who outboxed every single person he fought?
he didnt have a particualrly great chin or one punch power but his sheer speed and ability let him dominate EVERY single fighter he fought
one of the greats definately - not particularly physically blessed, not massively strong or resilient - got through on sheer talent aloneComment

An admitted Calzaghe hater. His style is bogus, like an amatuer boxer trying to pile on points by landing anything he can even if the shots don't hurt. He fought his entire career in Wales and when he finally did come to America, he just fought old has-beens. He's never been in a great fight. He is a ****y jerk in and out of the ring.Comment

Depends. He was really good to watch against Kessler, Lacy, Eubank and in his early run of his championship reign. He wasn't bad to watch against Roy but it wasn't his best performance.
I didn't enjoy watching him against Bika and Hopkins but thats more Bika and Hopkins tactics that Joes styleComment

They don't necessarily go together. I admire his style for its adaptability and obvious success, and any boxer can learn a great deal from watching him. As the old cliche goes, though, styles make fights. Lacy was an exhibition, and Kessler was a terrific fight while B-Hop was a snooze-fest as he attempts to achieve much the same things in the ring as Calzaghe, albeit in rather different fashion.Comment

b-hop and joe are totally differnet fighters - ones a pressure fighter the others a defensive footwork masterComment
