Funny thing was that, he was complaning even before getting to the corner, he was i cant see, I cant see and ten Jackson told him, you are Ok champ and he said, tell them I cant see anyways!!!!!
If it's an injury and the fight was stopped wouldn't it be a TKO anyways? I thought the ND rule was only in an event where the fight was stopped due to a cut caused by a headbutt, if Campbell suffered some type of retina injury then should that be changed to a ND?
Yes. I don't know if you saw the fight, but the injury was obviously caused by a headbutt. It needs to be ruled a NC.
Bradley was winning the fight. Nate got head butted and the referee wasn't very clear with his decision. Nate's corner made a mistake by not asking the incompetant ref his belief if it was from a punch or a headbut. It would have been smart by Nate to leave with a no contest considiring he was losing the fight and would still get paid with a NC on his record. Bradley was smart in staying in the attack mode. The fighter must always protect himself at all times.
If this unfortunate decision stands I will pay my 3 wagers on Tuesday.
Campbell was right bout the decision, but he was looking for a way out. From the beginning of the fight, Campbell was complaining to the referee, I never see him do that before. Usually his opponents are the ones complaining about his dity tactics and he is always like "fight mother****er fight." He was not eager to finish that fight and thought he had a way out with a no decision and never fight bradley again. Now he is stuck and will have to fight Bradley again before getting any props. Bradley was gonna get to him eventually. Bradley was the only one throwing combinations and would bnot let nate do his dirty boxing inside. Nate had no answer for this fighter last night. Its his fault that he trusted the ref to help him eventhough the ref never stated it was by a headbutt when it really was. At this point, Bradley got options and Campbell dont. Thats unforunate, but Campbell got to live with that if he really wasnt seeing black spots. If he was seeing blind spots and can bounce back, he needs to be calling out bradley. IMO he ****ed up bradley's shine that night. hey guys bradley should be in everyone's top 10 p4p lists now.
Nate Campbell, lost a great deal of respect last night!!! Sure he got head butted, however when you watch him, he was able to defend himself and actually fight off the ropes lasted thru the round, but took a pounding as the bell rang...He got to his corner and was immediately saying he couldn't see, he knew it was only round 3 and that the fight if stopped on a head butt would result in a NC...Nate wanted to get a payday and set up a rematch to get another payday......funny how he looked just fine all the while he was complaining, beging and imploring his corner people to stop the fight!!! he thought he'd get a NO CONTEST.....too bad Nate.....
Bradley would not be denied last night and Nate had NO answer for the barrage of punches that were being thrown at him......I hope Nate's appeal gets denied....GO RETIRE, YOU ARE DONE!!!
i somewhat agree with you. he made it too dramatic.. it clearly seemed like he could walk around and see.. nd he is financially ****ed up.. so it makes sense as to why he would do that.. now lets see what the doctors got to say.. but overall it shouldve still been a NC b4 round 4.. i read the rules at the beggining perfectly.. nd it was clearly a head butt my dude.
