Shane Mosley Still Hunting For a Pacquiao Opportunity

Call it what you want. Fact is Mosley is a legitimate p4p fighter with belts that willing to meet the demands that another p4p fighter with belts is demanding. He is a legitimate player in the WW picture same as Cotto Pac and Mayweather. He is not wrong or desperate for trying to make a match to solidify his legacy even further and get paid alot for doing it. The guy is a world class fighter that does this for a living and has legitimate wins and great performances in his last couple fights. He has every right to pursue these fights to the fullest extent of his will and desire. What happened to fighters making big fights and actually anting the belts and the money and the stauts? Maybe Shane is trying to become the clear cut p4p#1 again, and it's not like he didn't just come off a impressive win against the man that was the #1 WW in the world. Mosley has every right reason and excuse to go after the fight and Pac's people also have said that Mosley was an Option if the Cotto thing didn't go good.

My friend nobody is dis*****g the fact that Mosley shouldn’t pursue the elite fighters of our era it’s just the antics that create an uneven playing field in favor of one fighter (Manny) that most if not all hardcore/legitimate fans cannot come to terms with. As I said in a previous thread, say Manny wins, what legitimate boxing fan would give him a nod of approval for fighting such an unfair fight?

I hope this fight happens rather than Cotto. WBA title is a better title and SSM earned that one. No excuses with Mosley..or insecurities !!!! Thats what Champions do!

Cotto is one of the realest fighters in boxing. i agree with him 110%, theres no reason why they should give ANYONE a title shot at a catchweight...

shane, be patient. your insistence will pay off someday after pac stop cotto on nov. 14. if uglyboyfloyd cowers in fear for pac, you come next in line. no doubt about that. but stay active, fight williams first, then challenge pac.

It's now obvious that Berto isn't going to fight Mosley with the new headline on the main page. I really do think that it is time to for Mosley to hunt for big game. He should try to get in touch with Arum about setting a fight up with Pavlik if Pacquiao isn't going to get the moxy to fight him.
