I'm only ****ing with you, man.

As for the topic, then too many to name. Here's a sample:

      * Boxing actually took place before 1995.

      * It's not a given that every era has to produce a "top 10 ATG"

      * Compound interest plays a part in how much revenue a fight makes.

      * How much $$$ Floyd Mayweather makes on a PPV card really isn't one of the ten most important boxing discussions.

      * Boxing is an entertainment where you follow the sport itself, not become a fanboy of a particular fighter and then spam this forum about them endlessly.

      * If your thread contains the words "LMAO@" then it's probably a **** thread.

And so on and so on...

                misconception: Oscar is gay

this is a really strange one cause no one on boxingscene even denies that oscar is gay, even though there is no proof of it. dressing like a woman doesn't automatically mean you're gay. Real talk

My personal favorite myth is that if a fight is close and goes to the other guy it is somehow a grave injustice. Judging boxing is an inexact science to say the least and it is up to the eye of the beholder. I know what judges I see eye to eye with me and who does not, I know what to expect from the scoring the second I see the judges atleast if the judges are the usual suspects. I do not care how many fights a judge has seen or how much training they have, it will always be up to the eye of the beholder with the current system and people need to accept that boxing judging works like that.

Another thing judging live in person is vastly different then scoring from a TV screen even if you ignore the announcers and the graphics.
