look, this is coming straight from the heart, wlad is a great champion, good heart and classy just like his brother, he has big punching power but WHAT MAKES ME not watch the HW division is the lack of competition, lack of entertaining the crowd, Wlad is too damn slow just like his brother vitali but i totally respect them for being classy guys.
the HW division: punch and clinch and hold for 10 seconds, same scenario over and over.
that's why i don't pay attention to it anymore.
if any of his fans don't like my opinion then i'm sorry, but that's how I FEEL about the HW division, ALL EYES are on the lower divisions.Comment

True it was winnable but it was also the main title in the division. It also helped that Baldy had some exposure in his two previous fights since they wanted the fight on Pay per view. I'm not saying Floyd would have ran and fought Cotto if he was called out. All I am saying is it's really not avoiding a guy if he isn't that interested in fighting you either.Comment

I think Cotto will fight anyone honestly. Its just that people make it seem like Floyd avoided Cotto when Floyd was the guy that had the main belt. Cotto would have been the challenger in that situation. I wanted that fight s bad. But I blame Cotto just as much as Floyd for that fight not going down.Comment

Here is another one that recently became popular. Andre Berto is now boring and clinches all the time. So he clinches against a south paw that leads with his head (Urango) and against a tricky experienced southpaw (Callazo) in a entertaining fight by the way, and he is labeled boring even though that up to that point the guy was been showing us flashy combos with his hand speed and brutal knockouts? The guy may not be ready for the elite welters (hopefully we find out soon) but to judge on one or two opponents is hardly reasonable. I have a feeling that if you put him in with a right handed fighter it will be more similar to what we are used to seeing from him. Should we judge all fighters on their most uneventful fight? Anyways I was just a bit surprised to see people say this especially about a fighter fighting two southpaws back to back. More to come...Comment
