I agree with you. The problem with Wlad was that he underdelivered, badly in that fight with Ibragimov@ Madison Square Garden. But he's been underrated, he's not even in the p4p list. About Floyd, I think adopting that "brings nothing to the table" attitude made things worst, but I really think he would've beat every top welter at that time, he should've done that at least for his legacy.

      Hopkins being boring.

Anybody who says that slept through his entre reign @ 160, as well as missed out on the Tarver, and Pavlik fights.

You're insane if you don't think Wladimir Klitschko is boring. I seriously put him on the same level as Cory Spinks. I've never been less interested in heavyweight fights than his. I really do consider him the most boring heavyweight titlist of all time.

Ummm Wlad often finishes fight is brutal fashion. Corey Used stick and move technique and doesn't engage as much. More power to him. What Wlad does though he use his jab to set up big shots. I think most people don't like the fact that he picks guys apart before he stops them. I also think that now that he has a reputation in the eyes of many as being boring people will not admit it when he has a good fight to watch.

See that is the thing. Williams was not really in the equation back then and Margarito (through no fault of his own) was having trouble getting a big fight with the other champions to get his name out there as a potential pay per view opponent. When Floyd won the belt Shane was still messing around at 154lbs. He came back down before Mayweather fought Hatton but lost to Cotto. The only guy that leaves is Cotto witch was my original point. Neither guy pushed for it though.
