Sorry to break it to you,

but Pac beat a former middleweight champion at 147.

Him or his team are being tramps about it.

I never cared if the belt was on the line or not since I don't think it would affect the outcome one iota but its OBVIOUS that the Belt was part of the negotiation.

In negotitations its give and take. Cotto had to give certain things up i.e. 2lbs and 35% cut. But now after everything is agreed upon Roach wants to TAKE the belt without GIVING anything in return.
So then just say no......or go fight PW or SSM..It isnt like they dont have other options w/fighters at WW who actually want and are willing to fight Cotto..

I'm sick of this guy and all the crap him and his team have **** out thoughout the negotiations for this fight.
I am with you on this one. I hold Pac in the highest regard, but in recent times him and his team seem like they have been attending the Floyd Mayweather school of pedantic negotiation strategy.

From a fans perspective it is about as frustrating as it gets! Just make the goddamn fight and stop f.ucking around, you are all gonna make millions! WTF!!!!!

But Cotto did like it. 145 and non-title fight. Roach and pac team are the ones that NOW want it as a title fight at 145. Cotto is ok with that, but at 147. Why should cotto give everything to pac team. He is already giving the purse to pacman. Not right.

What are you talking about. The real question here is WTF did Pac agree to it in the first place? He manage to put everything else in the contract 65-35 split. Million dollar penalty for every pound Cotto comes in over. The fight at 2lbs below WW.

They had both agreed now Pac is like......wait I change my mind..GTFOOH

I like how this is standing right now. It's like whose gonna budge first? Well I hope Cotto's team doesn't because they already made mends with the weight. I hope either Pac moves up or no title on the line because it won't feel like a legit win if Pac beats him at 145lbs. I see where Pacquiao has an issue because he's in bigger men's territory now but at the same time, he can't have them all bend for him because he has no other really marquee named opponents @ 140lbs since Floyd and Marquez are locked up.
