Serves Roach right. The tables have turned for once, and it's the opponent that has leverage over Pacquiao. Cotto wanted that big money, so he gave up the 147 limit. Team Pac wants the belt, so Cotto gets to put weight right back on the table.

Yeah strange how that works, seems it's all good as long as it is in there favour.. if you want the belt you have to fight at the weight that belt belongs to simple as that.

I agree. I will never admit to Pac being a 7 division champion if he gets it on this BS.

If Cotto and team didnt like it they could have fought a PW or SSM..

They agreed to 145 lbs, no title. If Pac doesn't like it he could have fought PW or SSM. You can't defend this one, no Pac nuthugger can.

All Im sayin is that Pac isnt campaining at WW..if Cotto and team dont like the negotiations then they could go after PW who wants to fight Cotto at 147 or Shane who would fight Cotto at 147...for the Ring championship.. that's all...

They had already agreed to 145lbs and no-title. Hell even Pac wrote an open letter to his fans explaining it.

Now they wanna change their mind. **** that.

I never cared if the belt was on the line or not since I don't think it would affect the outcome one iota but its OBVIOUS that the Belt was part of the negotiation.

In negotitations its give and take. Cotto had to give certain things up i.e. 2lbs and 35% cut. But now after everything is agreed upon Roach wants to TAKE the belt without GIVING anything in return.
