I will root for Pac but i am getting tired of this demand for the title. If the title is on the line, then the fight should be at 147.

I dont even believed its Pac who wants it. Its his damn management/advisor/close friends. They are the one feeding Pac all this crap.

I'm glad Cotto took a stand on this, Pac's cheesy negotiating tactics are getting old, he hasn't proven himself to be as big of a monetary draw as him and his people claim he is. He's made his claim off of others that were the main draw and claimed the success as his alone. Cotto should be getting a bigger cut, you can't tell me Cotto is that much smaller of a draw than Pac.

The difference in those fights is that everything was AGREED upon you dumbass. These guys already, at least verbally, agreed to fight at 145 and no title and Pacman said he accepted the fawking offer, and now he wants the title on the line after the fact. Jesus, I'm not even saying it SHOULDN'T be for a title at 145, if Cotto doesn't have a problem with it then fine. But, I'm sure manny did this to himself by trying to pull this **** after an agreement was reached. Who is to say if Manny offered Cotto 40% with the title on the line at a 145 catchweight then Cotto would have turned it down then? Manny or whoever is pulling this **** after at least some agreement whether on paper or vocally was made. And, again, because apparently you're incapable of comprehending this, the division is 141-147. Everyone says its not a big deal for Cotto to come down 2 pounds, well then ****, whats the problem with him going up a mere 2 pounds? 2 pounds doesn't make him "that much weaker" so 2 pounds shouldn't make him that much stronger either.

Ive been front & center trying to tell people that 147 is not a division but only the max number of welterweight which is the division. Ive made numerous post trying to explain to welterweight is 141-147 & that 145 is a welterweight fight.

55 plus pages of posts & countless articles saying the fight is not signed yet & still no formally legal announcement of the fight.

cotto versus mayweather is the fight that should go down

People don't realize that what you just said is easier to make if Pacman-Cotto don't take place.

Cotto will become free agent in January and can be fighting PBF in February or March. He will be able to negotiate his own fight and will be no weight restriction and the it will be for the title.
Cotto will accept to the money terms similar to what he accepted against Pacquaio and PBF will be happy because he will be making big bucks and can has a chance gaining his P4P best status back.
A win over JMM and then over Cotto (if he beats both) will shoot hin over Pacman in the P4P list.
