cotto team: why the problem now???

    1) u made 146 easy and beat a huge WW in clottey. Surely u can beat a former 106 lber just 1 lbs lighter.

    2) if u didn't like 145, then don't sign the contract.

    3) if u don't want your belt on the line, then don't sign the contract.

    4) u don't have to fight pac, so why are you being pac's little ***** **********? Simply walk away, u won't get the biggest payday of your life but atleast you'll have the wbo belt.

What makes me laugh is everyone saying, "He mad 146 in his last fight, he can easily drop one more pound."

Next we'll hear, "He made 145 i his last fight, surely he can make 144."

One pound at that level, when you are cutting weight, dehydrating, and so on, is extremely hard to lose. Especially when you are near your limit, Cotto's limit being 146-147 most likely.

Cotto is going to be sacrificing a lot to make 145. So why put his belt on the line? It's a welterweight belt. If your fighting at welterweight the limit is 147, if Pacquiao wants the belt than the fight should be at 147. It makes perfect sense. If Cotto's going to be sacrificing so much to make 145, a weight he hasn't seen in years, why put his welterweight title on the line?

Cotto's winning anyway, so all this will mean nothing.

Also, Cotto didn't sign the contact for s title fight. Cotto signed to fight Pac at a 145 pound catch weight. Pac is the one who later decided he wanted the title on the line. So you should be saying Pac shouldn't have signed the contract if he didn't like it. But we all know Pacquiao signs anything you put in front of him, hell he tried fighting for Golden Boy and Top Rank lmao.

This is what Cotto is doing to the WBO and Pacquiao

Cotto has made enough concessions. Time for Manny to sacrifice something if he wants the glory of being a 7 division champ. Nobody should want him to face anything other than the absolute best version of Cotto if you want him to make history.

you are definitely a fat ****er who has never worked out in your life. to say 1 lb is a huge weight difference your an idiot. but the problem is his diet routine and how he will make it without going to low. stop bitching about weighing at 145 and being so butt hurt.

he takes an extra **** before weigh-in he's good. eat one less taco a day and he's good.

Easy cheesey. Cotto was not chasing Pacquiao. Arum set up this fight. The fans set up this fight. Cotto just fights whoever is put in front of him. Cotto is right. If the belt is on the line, fight at 147. Otherwise just accept the frigging fight at the catch weight for no belt. If someone on Pacquiao's team wants the belt, take it from Mosley. I guarantee he would not put his belt on the line at 145.

allot of these guys have no idea what it is to cut weight and know how it affects your body. I'm going to generalize but i figure allot of these people with opinions are just desk jockies with a blurred sense of reality. It's not hating on anyone... but i do find it su****ious that A) cotto is champ and yet he has no say in the fight B) Pac has already fought at 147 but now won't C) first the fight had nothing to do with the belt and now it does... IMO GOATS don't act like chumps... I respect Pac for what he does in the ring but i feel they are lowering the bar for him to preform.
