Wilson Puts A Hurtin’ On Huerta, Scores Major Upset

By Jake Donovan - In last month’s inaugural installment of Fight Night Club, the only thing that was missing on a night of entertaining prospect action was an upset. Fallen featherweight contender Juanito Garcia tried his hardest to accomplish that feat in his main event bout against David Rodela. He came damn close, settling for a split decision loss. [details]

The big heavyweights were to heavy for the turnbuckles. I think they moved a whole corner and they had to put it back in its place.

I wouldn't consider Wilson winning a huge upset, and never should anyone who had seen him fight before tonight....it was foolish matchmaking on Huerta's promoters part.

Wilson still needs some work, especially with his defense but he has tremendous talent. The rest will be up to his dedication and how well he learns in the future.

Good show. I liked it more than the first episode. I also liked the new ring announcer. She botched a couple lines on the cards but she was nice to look at. All 59 seconds of the main event was highly entertaining. Good to see Nate Campbell's boy get the big win, especially after the lead announcer( not fisher or b-hop) didn't even acknowledge Campbell when they showed him with De la Hoya and Mosley. Hopefully Campbell knocks Bradley out the same way.
