I think this would be nice if anyone can spare a few dollars, whatever you can, to make your donation in the name of Vernon. For the organisation that Vernon helped build, lets let them know what kind of fans he had - fans that not only admired his abilities in the ring, but also his heart and soul. Lets pay respect to the organisation he loved.

Thank you for posting this. I was thinking about posting a thread about one of my favorite memories of Vernon. He was a client, and very good friend of mine. I had just talked to him hours before he was killed. He called me to wish me a happy birthday. I'm devastated. He was such a great person, as well as fighter.
I'll post this on my *******, and facebook to spread the word.
There's a guest book for Vernon on legacy.com
If you can't find him on there just PM me, and I'll send you the direct link.

Please post that thread. I would love to read it. I'm sure many of us would. We are all so deeply saddned by this loss and we have never met the man, but we understood how special he was.

I can only imagine how hard it must be for you. I appreciate your help and my thoughts go out to you too.

              Agreed.

I can understand this place is mostly populated with underage tykes with no real source of income, however ; any man with a real job who's ever bought a PPV, or watched a regular HBO or Showtime card that Forrest was on and felt they got their's money's worth should send a donation to his Organization.

I'm in gentlemen. I worked for years as a nurse for clients such as the ones the Viper and his foundation took care of. So I can appreciate his life in and out of the ring.

                RIP CHAMP!!!!!
