    Nothing wrong with that.

The Brits have their **** together these day when it comes to boxing.

Whereas here in America, we've fallen off big time, white fighters and otherwise.

Too many guys interested in the NFL and the NBA.

what most white americans forget is we are all european.and europeans are kickin ass in the sport america has football and baseball -hocky -golf -nascar.you split all the white kids up amongst all of that and not to ignore that 60% of white youth go to collage to make there livein with there brain .not much left for boxing ,that goes somewhat the same for black youth in this country. not many black americans holding belts these days either we have to remember all this when you ask that.

Ignore race but imagine guys like Lebron James Brian Urlacher Ray Lewis etc as boxers.
Jason Taylor of the Miami Dolphins would be a good heavy weight too, naturally fast well conditioned and very good reach.
How many NBA centers would make great heavy weights?

Now there are reasons why kids go NFL and NBA: More money and more money for more people.
Not that many boxers make great money and they pay the price for it for decades.
That's the other part Boxing is more dangerous than either sport (and WAAAAAAAAAAAAY more dangerous than baseball).
And finally: Football/baseball/basketball etc have college programs, people can keep their options open more easily with those. Or even if they know they're not pro caliber they can at least get a free college education out of it. Not so with boxing.
This is part of the reason why MMA has more good American fighters, kids with college wrestling backgrounds get that foundation for the sport.
