suddenly PBF comments about race in the sport of boxing don't look so out of place do they?
this is the annoying thing about boxing, and the politics of boxing when networks become involved. they want to generate momentum for a fighter who will appeal to a wider audience (i.e. arreola to mexicans, pavlik to white americans etc) they hype the fighter, push through stylistically easy fights for him and create a great fighter.
this does huge disrespect to the legit champs at the time, and also to the said fighter who is hyped so much only to come tumbling back down and have his confidence shot to pieces.
