cotto is right man, if fights are at a catchweight then you shouldn't have belts on the line.

WW is anything from 140-147, therefore if a WW belt is on the line you should be able to weigh in at 147!! if you cannot weigh in at 147 then its not a WW fight and the belt shouldn't be on the line - simples

this is the sort of B/S that confuses fans, is used to hype a fighter's credentials, exploits the fragmented titles and makes a mockery of boxing.

anyway big props to cotto for sticking to his guns and not budging on the issue of weight, i said beforehand that if the fights was at 140-143 then pac would take it and if 145+ cotto would take it. it reminds me of how SRL allowed hagler to take the money and take the gate etc but didn't budge from his boxing demands because he priortised his legacy over the money. cotto is doing the same thing here.
