screw the belt then. If it's so important just create a new belt. Make this fight for the OCW belt then (Official Catchweight Champion)

Whatever you say, he got that belt through fighting in fair weight... not because he took it from a bum pac has the right to underprice it...

It's just pac's camp who after the belt... and cotto has the right to defend it.. why don't they continue fighting at 145 without mentioning the belt?

Let's be fair people... though we have favorite fighters, let's be fair to people who have the right to protect their own will..

I think it's clear cotto is trying to bait pacquiao into fighting him at 147. I don't think the belt really matters to cotto, he just wants that extra two pounds.

                  >> You did not mentioned the belt when we agreed at 145, why you changed your mind lately and wanted to have it?

                  >> Yes, WW is from 141 to 147 but I got this belt at 147. I bought it for $100 and you are offering me to buy it for $80. Do you think its fair to me?

                  >> DLH and Hopkins agreed to fight at catchweight with the belt on the line. That was a different issue. Both of them agreed because of some factors. Again, both of them agreed - and I don't agree on this one... do you have the right to complain and force me to agree? I don't think so..

                  >> Catchweight is for money and not for legacy... If you really want to fight for legacy, fight with me at 147... for money.. I already agreed @ 145..

                  >> Though you are the pound for pound king, we are not fighting for your 140 ring magazine belt. We will be fighting on my own weight class and I think it's fair to say that I have the right to decide what to do with my belt... If you don't want to fight @ 147 with the belt or 145 without the belt, I am not interested with the money this fight could generate for both of us...so I will not chase you and give-up my belt...It's my pride who won't allow me and I think I have the right the be treated fairly..

                  >> and lastly Manny, I'm matured enough... I'm not a child who would accept candy for my gold....

I'm not saying any of that, I'm just pointing out my observation (cotto baiting pac).

Pernell Whitaker didn't have to have the belt on the line to fight Chavez, same with Hopkins against Oscar.

Different fight, different people, just like Cotto said. It's up to him.

Personally I don't give a **** what he decides. I think a fight at 145 is fair for both of them and all I can care about is the actual fight itself. The belt is worthless anyway it was a vacant belt Cotto picked up.

Really man? Really? C'mon I know you are a Pac nuthugger and you love him to death, but to say Cotto is a journeyman boxer is just ridiculous. Plain ******ity there. I think if that's your honest opinion you've gotta be an idiot.

I'm not saying Pac sucks, or he's bad at all, because he's not. I'm also not saying Cotto is the best ever and he is gonna school Pac.

I'm just saying that if you seriously think Cotto is a journeyman then you might be mentally ******ed.
