This adds to my question to why people think its unfair that Manny is fighting Cotto at 145 instead of 147 when you got Marquez fighting Mayweather yet everyone picks on Mayweather for fighting Marquez and people pick on Pacquiao for not fighting at 147....I mean Marquez is fighting the smallest welterweight and you guys say he can beat Hatton and many said anyone could have beat Oscar that night so I don't get why one small guy gets blasted for fighting a huge welterweight at 145 and another small guy gets praise for fight the smallest welterweight at 144? (I think thats the weight) I don't think he could beat Hatton though. If Hatton hits him its over imo.

Nope. Styles make fights. JMM doesn't pose as much problems style wise for Hatton.

JMM would've been timing up Hatton for those counters just as well if not worse. Now would his power have taken Hatton out as early......probably not. But he probably would've been Just as dominant for as long as the fight lasted as Pac was in the first.
