Lets stop this debate. Pacquiao has his own excuses at 147 (not valid excuses) and cotto has his own at lower weights (he has the right) so to make everything fair.. Fight at 147 and put everything on the line.. end of debate... let's call it welterweight championships and not catchweight championship with welterweight belt...

141 to 147 is like having a grade in school of 76% to 80%... if you got 77%, of course you still passed but you got lower credit.. that's what will happen to pac when he beat cotto at 145 with the ww belt...he won but I won't give him credit... because he did it below standard..

It's pacquiao who is invading the division.. he should not the one to dictate the terms... pac is not comfortable at 147 so as cotto at 145 and below.. so what's the matter fighting above 140? pac was the one who wanted the fight that's why he watched cotto with clottey.. Giving away your belt just to prove that you are great even you know it's unfair to do is a ****** thing Cotto can do...
