The funniest thing about this is Shane would have been willing to fight for Pac's title at 140 or his own WBA Welterweight title at 141! He was so desperate for the fight it actually sickens me. Cotto on the other hand, stands his ground like a man, demands that the fight be no lower than 145, and that there will be no belt on the line. I can see him leaving Arum's face red during negotiations! I have never liked Cotto before, but huge props go to him.

i doubt it is already signed........mosely will make this a fair fight and agree to 145 for his title.......it really hard to count manny out vs anybody now ....he's proven himself too many times now.....this fight would be 50/50....Comment

I read a line also before that ODLH said, he is not David Diaz, then Hatton said, he is not ODLH! Then here again, Cotto tells he is not ODLH or Hatton.. Mostlikely PBF would say this too, I am not Cotto, Hatton or ODLH!Comment

ALright mate, I'll give you that. I assumed he meant prime 4 prime before re-reading. As far as Hatton is concerned. I don't think he's better than the Hitman who beat Kostya.... but those days are [I]long[I] gone. Better than the Hatton who fought Floyd, Pac & Collazo? I'd have to say so.Comment

Miguel Cotto wants to send a message to Freddie Roach, the trainer of Manny Pacquiao - "be ready for a war." Cotto doesn't want Roach to think Pacquiao will have an easy night on November 14 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Cotto does not want to be compared to Pacquiao's most recent victims, Oscar De La Hoya and Ricky Hatton. [details]Comment
