Cotto man has skill and fights beautifully but after he gets hit he retreats like having flashbacks of the Margarito fight. When Pac lands Cotto will retreat against the ropes and Manny will know him out.

Freddie Roach has went on record and said that Manny is knocking
Cotto out and a lot of other talk along with Manny's peoples. They
are really underestimating Cotto's chances and that's why Cotto
shot back at them and down played his wins over Oscar and Hatton
(Which were easy wins for him). They got Cotto's blood boiling and calling Hatton overrated well............ He didn't look very rated in the fight with Manny and Oscar was over the hill.

I think Cotto is not the same fighter after the Margarito bout. He left something in that ring that night.

I think Cotto is the same fighter but he just needs a better corner.
Cotto has potential but he needs a trainer/coach to teach him some
new tricks and reach deep down. I think if Cotto strengthens
up his defense and ring intelligence in regards to getting out of
tough situations he can be better than he is now. If Cotto continues
to go the route he is going then he will not get any better.

hahahaha good to hear that Cotto is holding his own, People say that if Cotto is sure that he can beat paquiao then he should put up his belt, but then again the same could be said about paquiao, if he's confident he can beat Cotto then fight him at 147 like everybody else that fights for a belt at WW. I respect Paquiao as a fighter but i hate the fact that Roach and the rest of his team is allways trying to have someone come in dehydrated, paquiao is blowing these fools out the water theirs no need for these catchweights.

But you see, Pacman is the man in the bout, P4P king and money drawer and both reasons mostlikely that Cotto accepted this fight, because by beating Pac, he would be one of the tops in the center stage, Pac therefore is on the table to demand leverage in his favor, just like the money sharing and the 145lbs catchweight. See how PBF behaved during his time as P4P king, he cherry-picked his opponents while avoiding the bests WW then, like Cotto and Margarito and he opted retiring than facing them.

Though I am more happy to see Pac fighting Cotto at full 147lbs. 2lbs is actually almost immaterial advantage, because he could superficially meet this weight by maybe two rounds jogging in the oval before scaling. The next day after his good slept, his ideal fighting weight will be back just the same.
