I'm a fan of both men, for obvious reasons (how can you not be?) but I don't think Valero has been seriously tested yet.

Pitalua and Mosquera were pretty good steps up and he certainly showed his capability against them, but Soto is a different beast altogether.

He's actually a very capable boxer and I think wayyyy too many people around here sleep on him.

Should the fight go down I would have to edge Soto for the victory by late stoppage ; and I'm a fan of Edwin's as well.

One thing's for sure ; it'll be a grueling fight, in which both fighters will likely exchange knockdowns and a sure fire candidate for "Fight of the Year".
I don't think so. Sottos chin and heart are proven. Valero might fold under pressure, and his chin hasn't been tested yet.

I think your right about this one, Soto should be able to do well with and have a good chance of beating anyone who is there to be hit. Soto had trouble the last time he fought with the Canadian fighter, this was due to all of the lateral movement Soto was presented with. I don't think he has to worry about that too much with Valero. Either way it would be an entertaining match no matter who wins or however long it lasts.

He simply hit Valero clean in the nuts. lol

Seriously, it was a right straight, left hook combo that sent Valero reeling on the ropes.

Crazy fight, Mosquera was the only fighter brave enough to backup Valero. He kept coming forward throwing punches, stood in front of Valero, not smart, he kept receiving power punches round after round, tough sob.

          I agree.

Soto is the much more proven fighter with a proven granite chin. Solid boxer.

What don't you agree with about what I said?

I edged Soto to win by stoppage.

nah men, Soto is as overrated as they come.
he is decent, good power and chin. he gets hits too much and with valeros speed and power thats lights out.

I mean if valero doesnt turn ti be a China chin ala khan he will win this!!!!

I've only seen Soto fight once, i don't know what to think of him yet. I don't know a whole lot about Valero either, but from what i've seen he's crazy. This should be a good match up.
