It doesn't take a genius to know that was what happened in the fight, no matter who says otherwise, Oscar himself has said he was weight drained, so by your standards De La Hoya is a No Contest also.

He probably said that so they wouldn't blame the trainer, it was Nacho who suggested to cut weight early to reach 147, that's what ****ed Oscar up.

I remember this fight. Pacquiao was fit and ready for the fight on its original date, but the Thailander exercised an option in the contract to postpone the fight with or without reason. That ruined Pacquiao's weight program. Pacquiao could no longer make the weight during the rescheduled date and the rest is history. After the fight, his manager was castigated by most reporters here in the Philippines for allowing that clause in the contract.

His third loss, in my opinion, was similar. bob arum, then the promoter of Erik Morales (Pacquiao was promoted by Murad muhamad), forced Pacquiao to wear "Winning" gloves, instead of his Cleto reyes gloves. Why did Arum impose that? because Pacquiao's punches will not be as deadly with Winning Gloves. The result again is history. For the second fight, he was allowed to use Cleto reyes gloves, and again the rest is history.

I think that Yes oscar was drained, but also it was his own fault. And why would you expect a ATG Lightweight to be able to beat an ATG middleweight anyway?

it was actually a big news in the philippines at the time..

pacman was super weight drained that time..

he was a pound or 2 over weight during weigh in.. so dehydrated himself during that day.. spitting, perspiring, etc.. he was naked during the weigh in and was even considering shaving all his hair.. he still didnt make the weight..
and lost the belt before the fight for being over weight..
so its ok for oscar and morales to be drained? just asking
